Missouri Proud
A downloadable submission
Secure Data Storage
Missouri Proud has a robust data system. It has its own file directory, found in "AppData/Roaming/Missouri Proud", which contains a data file. At numerous points throughout the user experience, in the background, there are if-then sequences that dynamically encrypt and store the user's data. Everything including the tourist destinations saved, the quiz results, and the item last viewed are all securly stored for a seamless transition to the next user session.
Intelligent Features
Missouri Proud contains intelligent features such as the interactive Quiz Page, which presents the user with a BuzzFeed-like quiz and automatically generates suggestions based on their results. The Quiz Page's output report allows users to browse through FIVE recommended tourist destinations. The search bar, along with the filters below, on the Explore Page is another intelligent feature which updates dynamically to user input.
Project Documentation
Missouri Proud was coded in the Godot Engine through GDScript.
Missouri Proud uses tourism information sourced from the Missouri Division of Tourism's website.
